For starters, the phone comes with a beautiful 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display, which is perfect for watching movies and TV shows. The camera is also top-notch, with two 12-megapixel sensors that allow you to take stunning photos and videos. Plus, the phone comes with a built-in stylus, which is great for taking notes or drawing pictures. Overall, the Note 8 is a great phone that's worth its high price tag. However, if you're looking for a cheaper option, we recommend the Moto G6 at only $239. It has an 18:9 screen ratio instead of an 18:5.7 screen ratio and doesn't come with an integrated stylus pen like the Note 8 does. If these features are important to you, then the Moto G6 isn't a good alternative. If not, then this phone might be more your style. With a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display, gorgeous front and back cameras, and Android Oreo (8.0) software, this phone has everything you need in a modern smartphone! Though the Note 8 is pricey, it's well worth the cost. If you don't want to spend so much money on a new phone, we recommend checking out the Moto G6 at only $239. Though it lacks some of the more expensive features found in the Note 8, such as an embedded stylus pen and an 18:5.7 screen ratio, it still makes for a good purchase if those things aren't necessary to you. We think the key difference between these two phones is their battery life. On average, the Moto G6 lasts around 20 hours before needing to recharge. On the other hand, though the Note 8 can last up to 19 hours before needing a charge, it takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes for it to go from 0% battery life all the way up to 100%. So while the Note 8 offers better performance overall, if you have a busy schedule and always forget to charge your phone before heading out for the day, then the Moto G6 may be a better choice. In our opinion, the Lenovo Moto G6 offers decent performance for a much lower price point than the Note 8. And if you're willing to compromise on battery life, brightness levels, and picture quality just slightly, then this phone could make for a solid upgrade. In conclusion, if you have a lot of money to spare and don't mind charging your phone every night before bedtime then getting the note 8 would be best; but if you are looking for something more affordable with decent enough power but without having too many extra features than go with the Motorola g6.
That being said, there are several significant advantages to buying a premium phone such as the Note 8. While basic smartphones typically start at about $100, premium smartphones often start around $500 or even more, depending on how much you’re willing to spend. This means that over time you'll end up spending far less money by purchasing a high-end phone rather than multiple low-end phones throughout your lifetime. Of course, there’s another option: buy your first device used and use it until it breaks down or loses significant value over time (which happens quickly with smartphones), then replace it with another used device once yours starts acting weird due to age or frequent use. For example, my current phone is a refurbished iPhone 7 I bought for $300 when it was three years old - meaning I spent only $200 in total for both devices over the last three years. Even if I had paid full price for both devices combined ($600) I would have saved about half of what someone who has purchased two new smartphones in the same timeframe would have spent ($1,200). Sure, those who went new will have slightly better specs on their phone which might mean something to some people - but not me. And when you break it down to dollars and cents, saving so much money just makes sense.

There are plenty of cheaper options out there that have similar specs. One of these could be the Samsung Galaxy S8, which has a sleek design and intuitive interface. It also has a 12MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) - perfect for those nighttime shots! However, while this device lacks water resistance, it does come with a headphone jack. Additionally, there's the Huawei Mate 10 Pro; despite being more expensive than both of the aforementioned models, its larger screen size is perfect for those who want more real estate to work on. With the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 6GB of RAM, it doesn't slow down when multitasking either. And since the latest version of Android isn't yet available on previous models, the Mate 10 Pro runs Android Oreo right out of the box. Ultimately, your decision will depend on what kind of user you are. If you're looking for a versatile phone with lots of features and long battery life, then the Galaxy Note 8 may be perfect for you. However, if you want something cheaper or more basic, consider one of the other two phones mentioned above. They both come with similar specs, but different things stand out about them. For example, a power button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone means you never have to touch it with your greasy fingers.
