Is Tomb Raider 2022 Going to Be Available on Multiple Platforms?

Tomb Raider, originally released in 1996, was one of the first 3D action-adventure games to be released on multiple platforms. The popular series has sold over 60 million copies since its release, making it one of the most successful gaming franchises ever made. With the recent announcement that there will be a new Tomb Raider game in 2022, fans are wondering if this will mark the first time that Tomb Raider will be available on multiple platforms at once. This article answers this question and speculates on whether or not we can expect to see Playstation and Xbox versions of the game come out alongside the anticipated PC version.

Why you should play Tomb Raider in 2 years

There's no doubt that the next installment in the Tomb Raider franchise is going to be one of the most anticipated games of 2022. While we don't know much about the game yet, we do know that it's going to be using a new gaming engine and that it will be available on multiple platforms. Here's why you should be excited for the game-New Gaming Engine: One thing that is really interesting about this new iteration of the game is the way it will look. Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that they are using a new gaming engine, which means that the world will have even more life and detail than ever before.

-Multiple Platforms: The other thing we've learned so far is that this game won't just be limited to PC or consoles but rather it'll also be available on tablets as well as mobile devices like smartphones. We're not sure if this means that all three versions will have the same features or if there might be some differences between them, but it's still an exciting development nonetheless. What do you think? Will you be getting Tomb Raider 2 in 2022? Let us know below!

If you're excited about seeing what new worlds Lara can discover next, why don't you make a pact with your friends and relatives? If everyone who liked a post about Lara does something nice for someone else—maybe buying lunch for someone at work who has helped them out lately—then everyone wins! It sounds crazy, but its similar to how paying it forward works. Paying kindness forward leads to making positive impacts on others. And while pays-it-forward isn’t exactly bears with kittens; they both grow happiness and love... which should make every cub reporter feel warm and fuzzy inside.(credit card interest)

Mainstream Consoles

It's been a little over three years since the last mainline Tomb Raider game released, and fans are wondering what the next installment will be like. One of the main questions on everyone's mind is which gaming engine will it use? And more importantly, will it be available on multiple platforms? In an interview with Eurogamer, Crystal Dynamics head of global marketing Karl Stewart said that this decision hasn't been made yet but would love for the new Tomb Raider to be available on every platform possible. The team also hinted that there may not even be a new Lara Croft model at all if they go with another company's engine. However, they do want it to have improved character animations and environments (although they're still working out how that will happen). A statement from Square Enix seems to support this claim: The way we envisage the future for the franchise is that we won't take any steps back in terms of technology. We're going to try and make sure that our resources are spread across every single one of those formats because we know our player base has an expectation now.

In response to whether or not the game would be multiplatform or console exclusive, he says I can tell you we'll always make sure our games come out on PC. As for the other question of whether or not Lara Croft would have her own new physical appearance, he says No comment. The fact that the developers refuse to give away anything about the upcoming game means that everything is up in the air. There's no guarantee about what will happen with this upcoming sequel, so players are just going to have to wait and see.

PC Gaming

It's been a little over six years since the last main release in the Tomb Raider franchise and fans are clamoring for any information they can get about the next installment. While we don't know much yet, there are some rumors floating around about what gaming engine the developers will use and which platforms the game will be available on. The most promising rumor is that it'll use Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4 and that it'll be released across all of the major consoles.

We're still waiting on an official announcement from Square Enix but these rumors are making our anticipation grow even more! What do you think about these rumored details? Let us know in the comments below!

A gaming engine is what gives a game its visuals, physics and mechanics. It's basically everything that makes up a game except for audio and user interface elements. There are numerous available options for developers who want their games to look and feel great including Unity, id Tech 5, CryEngine 3, Unreal Engine 4 and several others. Each one has their own strengths so it's important to pick one that's best suited for your project. You can view them all here! A platform is any device that users can play games on—like a computer or console—and they each have their own specifications based around how they run graphics-intensive games and how many players they support. Some popular ones include PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Wii U. PC: Gaming: PCs have always been a home for gamers with powerful hardware that allows for improved graphics and computing capabilities. With the increasing popularity of Steam (a digital distribution service), gamers often find themselves playing on PCs as well as consoles. Consoles: Consoles like Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Wii U are designed specifically with gaming in mind; they're able to run graphically intensive games without issue while also being able to house multiple players at once. They come with built-in controllers as well as access to online multiplayer modes through services like Xbox Live or Playstation Network. Their limited control scheme makes them ideal for younger gamers and beginners who are looking to learn new skills. Mobile Devices: For those that just want to pass the time during downtime, mobile devices like smartphones and tablets offer simple experiences with touch-based controls perfect for short bursts of gameplay. Though not traditionally seen as serious gaming devices, mobile gaming is huge nowadays thanks to both iOS and Android systems coming equipped with larger screens and enhanced processing power than ever before. At this point in time, there's no telling what kind of system Tomb Raider 2022 will use but if history tells us anything, it'll probably make its way onto every current platform available.

Mobile Devices

It's no secret that mobile gaming is on the rise. In fact, it's expected that by 2022, mobile gaming will generate $196 billion in revenue. With this in mind, it's not surprising that many developers are looking to create games for mobile devices. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when developing for mobile. First, you need to consider the different screen sizes and resolutions. Second, you need to take into account the different input methods (touchscreen, buttons, etc.). And lastly, you need to make sure your game can run smoothly on a variety of devices.

With all of this in mind, it's unlikely that Tomb Raider 2022 will be available on anything other than mobile devices. If they do release it on PC or consoles, they would have to modify their graphics significantly as well as reduce gameplay time considerably. The only exception might be if the developers used an emulator like BlueStacks so that gamers could play Tomb Raider 2022 on their computers using a touchpad instead of using a mouse and keyboard. But even then, the resolution may be too low for some people. For these reasons, it's safe to say that Tomb Raider 2022 will only be available on mobile devices with limited options for those who want to use mouse and keyboard while playing. The idea of a gaming console releasing such a significant title may seem appealing but is unlikely. Especially since game consoles are predicted to die out in the coming years due to the popularity of streaming services like Twitch and YouTube Gaming which has decreased demand for physical copies. To add insult to injury, Microsoft recently announced they're stopping production of Xbox One S, leaving PS4 Pro as the sole next-gen console currently available. With consoles dwindling in popularity, Sony won't be releasing any new games onto them in 2020 - 2021; opting instead to focus on PC and mobile titles going forward.

But wait! There is one way we could see Lara Croft return home: Nintendo Switch! After breaking records for its incredible sales numbers during its first year on the market and producing over 10 million units worldwide, Switch looks set to be around for a long time. If I had my money on where we'll see Tomb Raider 2022 next year it would definitely be here - hopefully more information about Lara Croft's latest adventure will surface soon!

VR/AR Headsets

The next installment of the popular video game franchise, Tomb Raider, is set to release in late 2022. And while we don't know much about the game yet, we're already wondering which gaming engine it will use. The most popular gaming engines right now are Unity and Unreal Engine 4, so it's likely that the new Tomb Raider will use one of these. However, we don't know for sure which platform the game will be available on. Will it come out on all major consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 or just PC? Or will it come out exclusively on VR/AR headsets such as Oculus Rift or HoloLens? It's unclear at this point. But one thing is certain: we'll have to wait until late 2022 to find out!

There's no doubt that VR/AR technologies will change everything about how we play games; it may very well revolutionize both video games and mobile gaming. Of course, these technologies are still very new, which means they’re evolving rapidly with each passing day. Which means there’s a good chance they could evolve even further by 2022 when Warner Bros releases its highly anticipated sequel to Tomb Raider – an action-adventure puzzle solving game originally released back in 1996. The original Tomb Raider was also made available on multiple platforms (both console and PC), but we don't know if the same can be said for this rebooted version. We'll just have to wait until 2022 to find out!
