Eligibility Criteria
A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience. He or she must have worked at least two years in a junior position and three years as a head of department.
Candidates should also possess a postgraduate degree from any internationally recognized university. Previous performance is an important factor that will be considered for selecting eligible candidates.
For example, if you have shown yourself to be an honest, efficient and effective employee over many years, then your performance can speak for itself when it comes to future employment opportunities.
On paper, potential employers look first at education and job experience before they turn their attention to characteristics such as honesty or punctuality.
But do these criteria really lead to success? Studies suggest not always. For instance, a recent study found that only 12% of MBA graduates were hired into mid-level management positions within the year following graduation—even though 92% possessed college degrees.
It seems that getting hired boils down more to who you know than what you know—or what merits someone's respect on paper doesn't necessarily translate into actual performance in the workplace.A
How To Prepare For The Online Test
Do some research about the job at hand. If you know what you're doing, then you're ahead of your competition! Before you decide to apply for a job that's posted online, it's a good idea to first read through all of its requirements thoroughly.
Check out what qualifies an applicant and if they have any specific skills or experience required (especially if they are asking for extra degrees). As a Pakistani citizen, if you don't have either, there's a chance that not even applying will be worth your time or effort.
Next, go through every section of your CV/resume and update it to make sure all relevant skills are highlighted. Ideally, it should only take you around half an hour to complete both tasks – reading requirements and updating your CV/resume.
It doesn't sound like much but these things can really help you stand out from the crowd so don't underestimate them! Another thing that might sound a little intimidating is trying to come up with new answers for interview questions, but honestly, it'll just take some practice and nerves of steel to get over this hurdle.
What you want to do is think up one answer in advance which sounds confident, achievable and appropriate. The next step is practicing this answer on someone who isn't related so they can provide constructive feedback before heading into your interview.
Keep in mind that everyone has their own way of answering these questions and it's important to find yours. Once you've done that, try coming up with two more alternatives based on different personality types such as analytical or humorous.
There are many online quizzes that offer examples of various interview questions but the best place to start is always a phone call! Ask a family member or friend for advice and share your thoughts about their answers when you're done - their input could be invaluable.
The last thing we want to touch upon is preparing yourself mentally for the day of your interview by visualizing yourself talking confidently to those judging you because this can actually reduce anxiety levels by almost 50%.
Visualize yourself winning - how would you feel? How would other people react? What would happen next?
