You could work as an Amazon Mechanical Turk: The crowdsourcing marketplace lets anyone complete small tasks for others, like marking images with basic descriptions. For each task you complete, Amazon pays you a few cents and deposits it into your account. It may not sound like much, but it adds up—especially if you can do many tasks quickly. To qualify as a worker on Mechanical Turk, you must be located in one of 11 countries and have an active bank account in U.S. dollars. You also need a computer and Internet access, which aren’t provided by Amazon. As a work-from-home job, it doesn’t pay very well—just $1 per hour, plus any tips you receive from customers. But if you supplement your income with some of these side gigs, you might just be able to afford that next vacation! Part-time jobs that require skills such as social media management, web design and copywriting: There are dozens of sites out there looking for skilled workers who want to perform simple tasks remotely. They include GetFriday (for translations), iFreelance (for writing) and Scripted (for proofreading). These services let you set your own hours, choose how much work you want to take on and bid on projects in advance. Some will even deposit payments directly into your PayPal account. Become a virtual assistant: A virtual assistant performs administrative tasks for clients from her home office. This career is becoming more popular because it allows people to balance their professional and personal lives, according to FlexJobs, an organization dedicated to helping people find flexible work opportunities. They help their clients with everything from bookkeeping to content creation, social media management, email correspondence and more. This is one of those jobs that require experience, so it’s recommended that you build up your resume by starting with small tasks like updating someone’s contact list before moving onto bigger projects like creating presentations and documents. As a virtual assistant, you could earn anywhere between $10-$15 per hour. Working as a personal trainer – up to $50 per session: If fitness is your passion, why not start training others? Personal trainers create exercise programs for clients based on their needs and goals. If you enjoy writing but don’t want to spend your time working for someone else, freelancing is an option that allows you to set your own hours and be your own boss. Proofreader – up to $18 per hour: While proofreading doesn’t pay quite as much as other freelance jobs, it can be an easy way to pick up extra cash while working around your schedule. They’re free because they make their money through other ways—for example, when you sign up for an account with Opinion Outpost, it will ask if you want to participate in market research studies on topics such as restaurant dining experiences or nutritional products. In return for your time, you can earn points that can be redeemed for cash or gift cards. And no, it’s not going to take forever to get enough points to redeem anything meaningful. The key is just getting started!

Writing articles and other content – up to $12 per hour

If you can turn a phrase and are passionate about a particular topic, writing for blogs can be lucrative. Thanks to technology, you no longer have to live in a big city or even near your readers – making remote writing an option. Freelance proofreading – up to $10 per hour: Editing is one of those things that everyone needs help with from time to time (proofreaders don't always catch everything). Freelance proofreading gives you an opportunity to make money online, usually as a side business idea, but sometimes full-time. As long as there is always new content being created that needs editing, there will be work available for freelancers who specialize in editing content online. Survey Junkie - Up to $5 per survey completed ($3 min) : Survey Junkie lets you take surveys wherever you are. How much they pay depends on how long it takes you, but they claim most people earn between $1-$3 per survey. Most surveys take 15 minutes or less and pay between $1-$3 each depending on length. Upwork freelancer gigs – up to $10 per hour

Upwork is a freelancer marketplace that connects business owners and contractors. The platform makes it easy for freelance professionals in various fields to find remote work, whether they need additional help during busy periods or are seeking full-time remote employment. Freelancers can search througthroughouth thousands of jobs posted by employers, apply for those that match their skills and experience, negotiate compensation and work arrangements, track time and get paid online quickly via PayPal or Dwolla. If you’re new to freelancing, register with Upwork and enter newbie in your profile so potential clients know you’re open to working on short-term projects as you develop your skills and build your professional network. Fiverr gigs – up to $20 per hour: Fiverr is another popular site where you can sell just about any service imaginable—from writing blogs posts and designing logos to building websites and marketing campaigns. Simply create a free account , set your prices between $5 and $200, add details about what you offer (including samples of previous work), then sit back while interested buyers reach out to you directly through email or Fiverr's messaging system. Fiverr takes 20% off the top for selling services on its site, but many freelancers report making more than $1,000 per month doing everything from writing articles to creating graphics designs.

eBay arbitrage – up to $10 per hour

Much like Zibbet and Etsy, eBay is one of those places you can sell almost anything. This means that there’s an opportunity for arbitrage—and there are tools out there specifically meant for people who want to do it. These include Profit Bandit (my favorite) and Check eBay Prices. Both services aggregate pricing data from a ton of sources, so if you want to know what it’s going for on Amazon, eBay or just about anywhere else, these sites will tell you. Just make sure you read up on all of eBay’s rules before getting started. The site has been known to ban users for even minor infractions. If you don’t play by their rules, you won’t be able to take advantage of selling opportunities on eBay.

Proofreading job postings - up to $7 per hour

The easiest online jobs can be found on Craigslist and other classifieds. Proofreading job postings is a popular side gig. For example, simply sign up with FlexJobs and you can work as a proofreader for several clients through one account, earning about $7 per hour on average (and more depending on your experience level). Data entry - up to $10 per hour: If you have decent typing skills and want to earn money doing data entry from home, then here are some legitimate work at home data entry jobs that pay between $10-$20 per hour. Data entry involves typing or keying in information into an electronic database system using a keyboard or computer mouse/trackpad. While it doesn't require much technical knowledge or training, it does require good attention to detail and excellent typing skills. Remote English tutor - up to $22 per hour: If you're bilingual and speak English fluently, then becoming a remote English tutor could be a great way to make money from home. Remote tutors set their own hours and can even set their own rates. To find remote tutoring jobs, check out websites like TutorVista or Varsity Tutors. Transcriptionist - up to $25 per hour: Transcriptionists convert recorded audio files into written documents such as letters, reports, medical records, interviews etc., usually working remotely either part-time or full-time via an online transcription service company like Rev (formerly RevZilla) where they will transcribe audios files sent by clients who need them transcribed quickly.

Taking surveys - up to $5 an hour

Taking online surveys is an easy way to earn money fast. However, many companies want you to spend at least 20 minutes filling out a survey. But if you aren’t interested in doing that, there are other companies who will pay much faster. Companies like Opinion Outpost will give you points for taking their surveys based on how long it takes you, so no time is wasted. There are several survey sites out there that pay quickly and use reward options other than just receiving cash. For example, some of them offer gift cards or merchandise instead of cold hard cash which is always nicenicenicennice.

Drop shipping on Shopify eCommerce store - up to $8 per hour

it is possible to make up to $8 per hour by doing drop shipping on Shopify eCommerce store. To start with, you need to create a Shopify eCommerce store and then choose products that are not sold in your country. Once you have found them, you can buy them at wholesale prices and sell them at a higher price. By doing so, you will earn a profit of around 40% which is quite good if compared with other part time jobs.
